While a Life Scout, Scouts must plan, develop, and give leadership to others in a service project helpful to a religious institution, school, or community. The project must benefit an organization other than Scouting. A project proposal must be approved by the organization benefiting from the effort, the unit leader and unit committee, and the council or district prior to starting the project. Resources:
After obtaining approval from the organization benefiting from the effort, your unit leader and unit committee, fill out the form below to request a meeting for district approval. Bring your Eagle Scout Service Project Workbook, No. 512-927 with all required signatures, except the district.
The advancement committee tries to hold project reviews at the candidates regularly scheduled troop meeting. Tuesday nights 7:00 PM at Christ The Redeemer parish hall is another popular time.
If that is not feasible other arrangements can be made.
If there are any special circumstances regarding project approval please have your advancement chair contact John Bills, Big Cypress District Advancement Chair, @ email@example.com with specifics.
After hitting the submit button below, please allow about one minute for processing. A message will then pop up letting you know your information was submitted.
